What Causes Painful Intercourse And Reduced Vaginal Secretion While Treating HPV And BV?

I have been sexually active for a couple of years and I never had any problems with my previous partner before I started dating my boyfriend. I found out a couple weeks after dating him that I had chlamydia and HPV with genital warts, along with BV and cervicitis. About a month after taking all of my antibiotics (about 1 month ago), I think I developed a yeast infection, as I had discharge and irritation. I used monostat which seemed to have helped. I also had all of my warts removed with two treatments using the acid treatment. I now have noticed that there is a lot of extra fleshlike matter in the entrance of my vagina, seeming to almost be blocking the entrance. I am able to have sex, however, sometimes it is painful and I have had extremely decreased vaginal secretions since being on all of my antibiotics and monostat (about 1 month) I started having painful sex around the same time I began having decreased vainal secretions (including discharge and when sexually aroused). Any ideas on why these two things are happening and if they are related?

Hello,
Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. Pain during the intercourse can be due either to the infection itself, the scarring of tissue which may have caused narrowing of the vaginal introitus or due to the decreased lubrication. Decreased lubrication is likely to be subsequent to the infection, medication and the scarring. You can use KY jelly for help. Please discuss with your health care provider and plan further management. Hope this helps.
