What Causes Painful Bump On The Buttocks?
i have what i would describe as a swollen bump with no head i guess on the inside of my left butt cheek close to my anus. it has been hurting the last three days i cant stand without it hurt cant sit without it hurting wakes me up in my sleep as well.what could it be

based from your description, it could be any of the following: a hemorrhoid, anal polyp, an abscess formation, fistula-in-ano, or a fissure. it is best if you consult with your doctor for medical and physical examination of the lesion. diagnostics such as proctoscopy and rectal examination will also be done. management (medical and/or surgical) will be directed accordingly.
