What Causes Painful Bowel Movement With Yellow Mucus Discharge?

I feel like I am going to have a bowel movement with pains in stomach, go to the bathroom and though I had a bm until I looked and there was a yellow mucus with fishy smell (also blood tinged). This has only happened to me this one time. What does this sound like?

I really appreciate your concern, this could be due to protozoa infection, if I would be treating physician of this case then I would for sure treat this condition with "Tab Metronidazole 400 mg" twice in day for 7 days, it would be fine soon, no need to worry about this, hope this information helps, take care.
