What Causes Pain While Wearing Tampon?

I tried using tampons for the first time today, but it hurts when it s in. When I walk, sit or even bend down it really hurts. Is it possible to insert it the wrong way? This may sound weird but It doesn t feel like it s in all the way but it won t go in any farther.

You have not mentioned your age and the marrital/sexual status. For a virgine girl, it is likely that the tampoon insertion may not be well positioned inside the vagina and may cause discomfort. Further you should use the tampoon of suitable size for your vagina. Your question suggests that you are not wearing it properly.
