What Causes Pain While Breathing?

Hi, I am having trouble getting a deep breath EVERY time I eat. I am currently waiting for surgery to have the hernia repaired. I thought at first it was just asthma but my puffers make no difference. I have also tried eno, zantac 'n rolaids. Any advice? It is bad enough that I can't even sleep sitting up.

Hello dear

Warm welcome to Healthcaremagic.com
I have evaluated your query in details .

* This is in relation with possible diaphragmatic issue as there is raised
pressure over the diaphragm compressing the lungs when eating or
even certain postures will enhance the problem .

* Needs proper physical evaluation with necessary radiological
evaluation or if done then consultation with all reports .

Hope this may help you to understand the doubt .

Wishing you fine recovery from the surgery .
Feel free to ask any further doubts .

Regards .
