What Causes Pain Towards Left Side Of Heart?

I have a small pain (lasts 1 sec or so) on my left side near the heart(not heart pain).This happens once a month(sometimes never)Today It happened 6 times during the day.I must tell you I'm overweight and I'm afraid of heart attack...(I'm only 24years old)Whats the problem?
