What Causes Pain In Wrist?

I m having severe pain in my left wrist . it has gotten. Worse over the last 4 months. I haven t injured it lately. The Dr has put me on antinflammatory meds and I wear a wrist support. It started on the outside of my wrist and now is most painful on back of my wrist and thumb side. X-ray didn t show anything either.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have wrist pain. It can be due to some bony or soft tissue injuries. As you x ray is negative. So you don't have any bone injury. You may have some soff tissue injuries. You should take anti inflammatory medicines. If it doesn't heal then you go for further imaging to search the cause. Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
