What Causes Pain In Urethra During Urination?

Hello, for the past 10 weeks I ve been back and forth to the doctors as I have been experiencing a pain when I start to urinate and then afterwards there is an uncomfortable throbbing pain in my clitoris which lasts for a long time and is sometimes accompanied by a burning pain. I have had numerous UTI and STI tests which have all come back normal and now my doctor doesn t know what to say and I am worried incase it is something more serious. Please help! This is seriously affecting my life and making me feel like I m not up for anything. What should I do??

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that the symptoms are due to neuropathy which refers to abnormal nerve function.

This can cause abnormal sensations such as the ones that you are experiencing.
There are different possible causes such as vitamin b12 deficiency, folate deficiency, diabetes, trauma, side effect of medication, liver or kidney disease, infection.

You may need to consider a review by your doctor or a second opinion.

I hope this helps
