What Causes Pain In Upper Thigh?

I suddenly started having pain in my upper left thigh and experience pain from the left side of ilac bone. I also have a ruptured disc L4/L5 that has been treated with exercise and Gabapentin for the past year, this pain has been down the back of my right leg and foot. Could the left side pain be related?

Hello and welcome on HCM!

Yes you have a history of rupture disc and this means that a nerve root is under pressure. That may give you pain, numbness, or burning sensation not only in the side you had it before, but also in the other.

You have to go through a MRI and consult a neurologist.
Hope this answer is helpful to you!

Best regards!
Dr Eriol.
