What Causes Pain In The Trachea?

Hello, I have a tracheal or what I think is my trachea pain. Associate with this pain Is chest pain not too severe but it s quite annoying. The best to explain the pain in my trachea is feeling as if I need to cough meanwhile my chest feel as if I did cough. Mind you I have not been coughing by any means. Please advise. Thank you.

Thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion you should get done chest x ray as upper respiratory tract infection can cause lower respiratory tract infection. And tracheal pain indicates URTI. So get done chest x ray and rule out LRTI first. If your chest x ray is normal than start quinolone group of antibiotics. They are very good in URTI. Take plenty of fluids and also take antihistamines. You will be alright in 5 days.
