I have dull pain deep in thigh. It s not constant but noticeable during the y and bad at night in bed. Could this be related to blood clot? Seems like a deep thigh muscle issue. 63 good shape stopped running after 25 years due to knee injury. Thx

Hello, my name is Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi. I understand your concern.
Your symptoms seems to be related to many causesports. It can be a vascular problem,a muscular problem etc.
To diagnose is necessary to do some examinations;a blood test, an xray,a ct scan if is necessary.
Some advices that I can give to you for a better sleep at night are:
-Enjoy a soothing (warm) bath in the evening.
-Brush your body with a loofah or long-handled brush in the bath.
-Ease painful tender points with a self- massage device.
-Do yoga and stretching exercises to relax.
-Sleep in a darkened room.
-Keep the room as quiet as possible
-Make sure the room temperature is comfortable.
-Avoid foods that contain caffeine, including teas, colas, and chocolate.
Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help, thanks!
