General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.
Thanks for putting your query over here.
Pain in temple region may be due to the direct impact of trauma she got.
If I were your treating doctor,I recommend,
-analgesic like acetaminophen twice for 3 days.
Avoid anti inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen till head injury is ruled out
-Ice packs local application for 15-20 minutes,3-4 times in a day.
-Avoid alcohol,sedatives,caffeine.
-Have adequate rest.
-Report immediately to ER if the pain persists or worsens beyond 24 hours,or there are symptoms of vision problems, nausea, vomiting, mental changes, bleeding from anywhere.(These are the signs of change in intracranial pressure)
Hope this information helps.
Thanks and regards.
