What Causes Pain In The Stomach And Hip During Intercourse?

I had a baby 4 months ago. Waited the six week period to have sex and everything was fine. The doctor even gave me the ok. I just started to have pains in my stomach and above my hip during sex. It s not all the time and it only happens certain positions?

Painful intercourse after birth is normal.It may not be a cause for concern.Six weeks is just an average over which physiological changes that occur during pregnancy are expected to normalize.You will get over your pain progressively.Your partner may go gently.If pain persist you see the Doctor to rule out pelvic infection.
