Hi,
I understand your concern
* Pain in pelvis in later months of
pregnancy is a normal feature. This is due to-
- The
pelvic floor muscles/ ligaments / pubic bone ligament get smooth/ strained due to developing fetus's weight & also down wards decent of fetus as delivery comes nearer.Calcium &
vitamin deficiency / digestive problems add to it.
* this pain need not be an indication for C.S.To decide about planned LSCS ,
pelvimetry is done which informs about small birth canal./ Plain
X ray abdomen along with doctor's judgement about big size of fetal head, less amount of
amniotic fluid in uterus/mother's health, Blood pressure, late age pregnancy can form another cause for planned LSCS.
If every thing is normal usually a normal delivery is preffered.
In case during delivery, labor pains stop/ mouth of uterus does not open/ there is
fetal distress.. emergency LSCS is done.
* So only wish to have normal delvery does not suffice OR just Doctor's verdict for LSCS is not sufficient to decide mode of delivery. It needs proper reasoning.
* Please get investigated under your doctor's care & then decision can be taken.
Thanks.
