Hi Im 21 years old, about 215 pounds, 6 feet tall. Ive been getting pains in my chest, more in the middle and left side. They will come and go every so often but its been a couple months that Ive been experiecing this pain. Im under a tremendous amount of stress these last couple of months. I went to the hospital once for the same thing a couple years ago and they had said it was stress. But now Im a little worried there may be more to it.
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. In my opinion, you are mostly having stress and anxiety related GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease). And this GERD is causing central chest pain. So we should definitely treat your stress and anxiety first. So better to consult psychiatrist and get done counselling sessions . Try to identify stressor in your life and start working on it's solution. You may need anxiolytic drugs too. Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm. For GERD, avoid hot and spicy food, avoid junk food. Take antacid like pantoprazole on empty stomach. Don't worry, you will be alright. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
