What Causes Pain In The Leg Especially Outside The Tibia Into Ankle?

What might be causing pains in my right leg, especially along the outside of my tibia into my ankle and up through knee cap.
It feels like a burning sensation relived slightly with pressure.
I had hip pain earlier in the day walking up steps, the same right side.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query.Your problem is most likely a nerve compression syndrome (sciatica) due to lumbosacral disc herniation.A physical examination by orthopedician gives a clue for that and an X ray followed by MRI if needed of Lumbosacral spine confirms that.Analgesics, muscle relaxants and physiotherapy will give relief in most of the cases.Only in severe cases a surgical correction will be needed.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
I find this answer helpful
