General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome.

I would recommend an MRI of your abdomen, to look into the placement of the stent and what could be causing pain syndrome. Once the cause is found or suspected we can take things forward from there.

But the stent is most probably working its way towards improving thw general health of your left kidney and if at all we require taking it our, we will have to place another one back during the same surgery. Please speak to your treating nephrologist.

Best wishes.
