What Causes Pain In Shoulder Blades And Chest Along With Heartburn?
Hi, I m a 55 year old female - not terribly fit, but not overweight - but under an enormous amount of stress. I ve been having what I think are heartburn symptoms over the last week, mainly at night. Pains in my chest (middle to right), burping like mad (but no reflux) and pain in my shoulder blades & collarbone. No spicy food or alcohol - I don t smoke.

From history it seems that you might be having gastritis or hyper acidity giving rise this problem.
Take Omeprazole or Pentodec for burning pain or acid reflux.
Go for EKG to rule out any coronary insufficiency as these symptoms are common in coronary pain as well.
