Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have pain in my lower left leg. It feels like muscle pain, but I have not done anything to cause it. It has been about 3 weeks now. It only hurts when I walk on it. Doesn t hurt when I am sitting down. I am an active 64 year old female. I have made an appointment with my doctor, but it is not for 3 more weeks.
Hi you have pain in your lower leg which increases on walking and there is no pain on sitting. In my opinion you have retrocalcaneal bursitis ( Swelling behind your heal) or sciatica. Take pain killers , muscle relaxants for 10 days and if there is no relief then go for x ray both heels and back.
