What Causes Pain In Lower Back And Stomach During Pregnancy?

I am 37 weeks pregnant. Midwife told me I am close to 2 cm dialated and softening.She also felt the baby's head during my exam. I have been having consistent pains in my lower back and stomach. This morning I had a "booger" like substance in my underwear, but it was not a lot. What could this be? I have also not been feeling the baby move as often.

hello,welcome to healthcare magic forum,your history told you may go for labor any time.your baby's head is engaged now that's why you are not able to feel his movement.be ready and relaxed.no need to worry much.contact your doctor as soon as your pain will increase or any liquid comes out through your vagina.good luck.
