Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have pain in my left rib cage when I sneeze or cough or sometimes breathe heavily. I sometimes have shortness of breathe. I think Advil helps a bit but I ve been told not to take it because my creatine levels are slightly elevated. Could the two kidney issue be related to the pain? What is causing the pains?
Dear patient Pain in ribs may be due to 1. Pleuritis 2. Rib fracture. There is no relation with rising creatinine and rib pain. You need to be investigated with radiograph of chest PA view to rule out fracture. If it's normal then please consult Chest physician nearby you and get yourself examined.
