What Causes Pain In Knee Post Hormone Therapy?

My friend is 65 with advanced stage prostate cancer. He has received one injection several weeks ago of a hormone therapy(Lupron?). Today I spoke to him and he is complaining of severe leg pain behind his knee(upper calf). Should he go to the er tonight or can he wait until tomorrow when he will call his doctor?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, initially pain can be managed with analgesic medicine because such pain may not be due to malignancy, if this does not responds to medicine then it can be seen by doctor, hope this information helps you, take care and have a nice day.
I find this answer helpful
