What Causes Pain In Jaw?
i'm scheduled with teeth extraction in a few days, the dentist detected swollen gum and prescribed me with Penicillin V, 300mg, the prescription is 2 pills every 6 hours for 48 hours, and then 1 pill every 6 hours until the end of the prescription. But lately i've been feeling my jaw is a bit sore, is that normal?

hello thanks for consulting at hcm..it could be becz of abscess since pain relief is thre only till the effects of analgesics and antibiotics,, it should have come dwn, if its nt cm dwn, u shd get a irrigation done either by saline or chorhexidine,, u may need x-rays, do salt water gargle thrice daily,,u shd consult ur dentist asap if prblm persists,,hp it helps,,tc
