Hi, I got my gallbladder removed in November of 2013, had a quick and fantastic recovery. No issues. I recently strained my lumbar and was sent to get physical therapy today. I got my first XRays (ever), did warm up stretches, and ultra sound message on my lower back. Not sure if this is a coincidence, but since my therapy, I ve had a prick/poking pain in the area where my gallbladder used to be. It s been poking on and off for about 10 hours now. Not extremely painful, but annoying and uncomfortable. It almost feels like a sharp piece of plastic poking me in my upper right quad of my stomach. If I press my fingers in to the sensation, it subsides... but the pain returns.
