What Causes Pain In Foot After Working Out On A Treadmill?
I am 62 years old and started going to a gym. i do the elliptical and the treadmill. total of 2-3 miles total. after a month i started getting a pain on the outside side of my foot. sometimes its a pain and sometimes it burns. i thought it was my sneakers so i switched sneakers. it doesn t bother me while exercising but when i stop i feel a burning sensation. do you know what that could be. it is slightly swollen too.
Hi, It seems that due to heavy exercises there might be having strain and muscle pull giving this problem. At this age there is already some muscle stiffness and low calcium level leading to more stiffness and pain. Degenerative changes in bones and muscles can cause this problem. Avoid hard and long exercises at this age. To keep fit go for slow running or walking. Take calcium and multivitamin supplements. Ok and take care. Ok and take care.
