What Causes Pain In Chest With Nausea And Profuse Sweating?

I've been having chest pain where my heart is located. I didn't think it was severe enough to be a heart attack. I have been taking aspirin and have had to take some nitro (ocassionally) but the aspirin I'm taking ATC. Then one morning I broke out in a profuse sweat & got extremely nauseated. I have high blood pressure and a heart murmer. But I don't have any Dr. I am not one to go to the ER for myself. However, since this happened I have been feeling weak and just not motivated. I do currently have a sinus infection and bronchitis which I've been taking Cipro for cuz it's the only antibiotics I have at home. But the feeling of is a lot worse than with my usual bronchitis. Do you think it's possible I've had a silent heart attack? The chest pain is similar to when I was refluxing into my left lung. However, I am having at times a fluttering feeling in my chest. What's your opinion..Is it serious enough to go to the ER?

Hello, Thanks for posting your query on Healthcare Magic...
* Brief Answer: you need to take that condition serious as you may have acute coronary syndrome.
*Explanation: My opinion is that ischemic heart disease is an important condition that needs good plan of management first of all anti ischemic medications such as antiplatelets and antihyperlipidemics are crucial. then regular follow ups with a cardiologist is a must to modify your treatment and see if any new findings in patient's heart condition exist. Of course healthy diet with low salt and fat content and regular exercising do help in such condition. avoiding stressful conditions and smoking is nonnegotiable.if any new chest pain develops or symptoms or signs of heart failure or even palpitations present then coronary angiography plus or minus stenting may be needed then.
I suggest my patients the following :learn about red symptoms or signs of ischemia . chest pain may be atypical sometimes .
The information provided by you is not sufficient to provide a good opinion.
If someone comes to me with this condition I would ask them about other risk factors and personal history.
*Conclusion: I suggest you get your self checked in ER and make sure that there are not any serious ischemic changes . get your self a cardiology check up.
If you have any further questions I will be happy to help, If not, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish you good health.
