What Causes Pain In Breasts After Accident?

My husband and I were in motorcycle accident one month ago. He just got out of ICU after three weeks. I didn t sustain any major injuries but had rib contusions, a groin pull but the last couple weeks, there has been a searing pain through and under my right breast whenever i bend over, or roll over...no matter which side. It seems to be getting worse. X-rays at time of accident showed no broken bones. Did I tear something?

hi.

noted history of accident and episodes of breast pain after. it may be an inflammatory reaction secondary to history of trauma, but other breast lesions which might be causing the breast pain, must also be ruled-out. diagnostics such as breast ultrasound and mammography will be needed for further evaluation. management (medical and/or surgical if indications are found) will be done accordingly.

hope this helps.

good day!!
