Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
just got back with my son from the dental hospital now he has something on the bone under the tooth right on the root of it and surounding it they took 4 xrays we where in and out of the chair for 4 hours and they just said they would leave it for a year because it isnt causeing him pain
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that something on the bone under the tooth just at the root can be conditions like a Periapical cyst, bone cyst, bulbous and enlarged root etc.. I would suggest you to consult an Oral Surgeon or an Oral Pathologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like x rays,MRI scan can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly.. As it is not painful presently you need not to worry as no treatment is needed presently.. Once the cause is ruled out it can be treated either by treating the tooth or surgical intervention..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
