What Causes Pain In Back And Abdomen Along With Painful Urination?

I had bad abdominal and back pain early this morning around 4am, I also have been having a slight burn on and off when I urinate. I went to my nearest walk in clinic and I tested negative for a UTI and bladder infection. I m nervous it could be something like an STI but I m clean and so is my boyfriend (as far as he s told me) I m extremely worried. I also have an anxiety disorder.

Hi,

Thanks for your question.

After going through your question, I can understand your concern.

Whatever the symptoms you have stated, may be due to-
1) Pelvic inflammatory disease.
2) Renal stones.
3) Part of premenstrual pain.

I would like to advise you -
Consult gynecologist for detailed clinical examination including of private parts.
Following investigations may help in diagnosis-
1) Complete blood count.
2) Urine examination (that may have been done as you have mentioned test negative for UTI)
3) Ultrasonography of abdomen and pelvis.
4) Liver and Kidney function tests.

Hope this helps you, if so do vote as helpful.
