What Causes Pain In Abdomen?

im having bad pain in my abdomen. always there but then it seems to hurt more every few minutes almost like a contraction. i have a fibroid that has almost doubled in size within a year and im just finishing up my period.Could it be my fibroid causeing this pain?

Normally fibroids are asymptomatic. When they increase in size or when they get twisted they become painful. As you said that it has doubled in size, get a pelvic ultrasonogram done and consult your gynaecologist.
