What Causes Pain In Abdomen On Intake Of Food?

I have a GERD acid reflux disease. I have been taking Nexium 40 mg twice a day Also, I have IBS, I am taking hyoscyamine tablets 0.125 g 3 time a day if feel good one day, and bad other day.. conditions keep shifting-fluctuate. I also take nortriptyline. I feel lower bally pain- I was told by my doctor that you do not have a Celiac disease. i feel acid/fluid rise to my mouth right after I eat. and when I am sleeping. some cough. how about pain right after I eat, I feel down, sleepy for 15 minute. do have intestinal infection so call Clostridium? what is that, what cause it Thanks Alex

Hello and welcome.

An infection caused by Clostridium diff can be treated, but the IBS can get a little complicated while you have the infection. Have well processed and clean food, and speak to your doctor about the initiation of antibiotics.Clostridium is just an infection causing organism which will have to be treated with antibiotics, nothing else.

As for the acid reflux, you need to initiate a better regimen to help manage the condition. Do not smoke, avoid alcohol, avoid carbonated drinks, avoid over eating, avoid stress, drink plenty of water, avoid spicy food, avoid fried/fatty/oily food, etc.
