What Causes Pain In Abdomen And Kidneys While Coughing After Drinking?
I was out drinking last night and i woke up this morning with slight abdominal pain in my lower abdomen/pelvic area. It hurts when i cough and it hurts when i press on it.. my back side of by my kidneys hurts too when i cough but its not like stabbing pain, more like dull pain. I do feel gas constantly moving around tho and my pain is mild and only when i cough or sometimes sit the wrong way. could this be appendicitis?
The history of drinking, appearance of pain in lower abdomen which is increasing on coughing or sitting in an odd position or pressing on it may not be due to appendicitis as you do not have other symptoms of right sided pain, nausea,m vomiting, fever and so on.
This may be due to Enteritis and / or colitis. Get a course of an antibiotic and metronidazole- no drinks till you get OK. Get ultrasonography and tests of blood, urine and stool.
The treatment will depend solely on the clinical actual examination and clinical findings and the reports of the tests. If appendicitis , you have to go for Surgery like Appendectomy.
