What Causes Pain Below The Rib Cage And Back Pain?
I am a usually healthy 44 yr female. I am experiencing abdomen center pain and pain below rib cage and back pain. Over the past few years I have been a moderate to heavy drinker. Mostly wine at night. I believe that I might have chronic pancrtitis. All tests blood and imaging have come back normal. Could I have chronic pancrititis?

Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like liver damage , kidney stone , kidney infection , pancreatitis , angina , pinched nerve or gastric problem . I would suggest you to consult nephrologist for proper diagnosis . Doctor may order kidney function test , CT scan or ultrasound . Doctor may refer you to gastroenterologist for liver or pancreas problem or cardiologist for angina . For now eat light , quit drinking , take ibuprofen or accetaminophen for pain and take proper rest .
