What Causes Pain Behind The Head, Fever And Tiredness In A Child?

Hi, my 5 yr old daughter was up last night complaining that the back of her head was hurting. It was still bothering her this morning, and now she has a fever and she seems to be more tired than usual. Are these typical flu symptoms or could there be something else wrong with her?

As per your complain it seems that pain behind the head along with fever and tiredness seems to be probably due to viral infection..
I would suggest you to consult a Paediatrician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like blood tests can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

-She can be advised to take Acetaminophen to reduce fever along with anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen to reduce pains and aches..

-She can be advised to take a soft and bland diet..

-Give her plenty of fluids and water to maintain hydration..

-Give her ample of rest..
