What Causes Pain And Tingling In Right Arm?

For the last month I have been having pain in my right arm. When I go to bed and move my arm from the shoulder down, there is a tingling pain. I think it is like a pinched nerve. More recently the tingling has been occurring during the day. I don t know what it can be.

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
The tingling sensation felt in the arm is due to involvement of the nerve supplying the arm.
Is there any history of injury in the past?
Nerve impingement, nerve compression, nerve irritation are commonly seen after nerve injury.
I suggest you to consult an orthopedician for clinical assessment to know the type of nerve lesion, extent of injury and site of nerve involvement.
Management will depend on the type of nerve involvement.
Compression or irritation of the nerve usually recovers spontaneously.

Thanks and take care
