What Causes Pain And Swelling In The Abodmen After A Hysterectomy?

I have been having bowel problems for a long time since my hysterectomy a year ago things are worse. I am having a lot of belly pain and swelling. My stool is small, solid, and black and I strain every time. I don t have normal bowel movements, its about once a week. This has been all my life. My dr. has tried pills, powdered drinks, I tried laxatives and that was painfull. I am constantly told I am constipated.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, as matter of fact it may not be disease condition and if it is the chronic symptoms then it need to be ruled out some intestinal pathologies and for that better to get done the endoscopic examination of guts, else it is nothing to worry, IBS could be the reason and it is the functional kind of disorder hope this information helps.
