Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am having pain to my right pinky toe. The pain started last night with swelling and throbbing pain. I have not injured or been bitten. I do not have an in grown toe nail either. I can t wear a shoe or bear weight on it. I have noticed that the right ankle has been swelling for two weeks now but it goes away when I elevate my feet. Please help!
I would recommend an X-ray of the given region in order to examine the skeletal structure. The fact that there was some amount of swelling around the ankle region also raises some doubt, please get an X-ray done and write back to me using our premium service wherein you can attach an image of the X-ray or visit a doctor in the region.
Best wishes
