What Causes Pain And Swelling Behind The Molar Teeth?
Hi, for the past day or two I've noticed a small hole behind my left molar, I was wondering if that could possibly be my wisdom tother starting to grow in? The affected area is swollen and painful. I have no room to grow anymore teeth in my mouth, so I'm worried about them trying to come in.. TIA!
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems to be erupting wisdom tooth it and there is swelling and inflammation of gum flap surrounding the wisdom tooth area and it is leading to pain.. It happens die to infection and inflammation in the area leading to pain and swelling.. Consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a clinical evaluation and investigations like x ray will be done and treatment can be done accordingly.. As of now do antiseptic mouthwash gargles, do warm saline gargles and along with it do cool compresses over cheek.. Keep the area clean and do not let food accumulation in the hole to prevent infection..
Hope this helps..
Regards.
