hello...it seems grommets or ventilation tubes have been inserted. no need to worry. their role is to allow accumulated fluid from the middle ear to drain out..that is why they are kept. try to keep your dry by repeated mopping .don t allow water in your ear while bathing. swimming strictly prohibited. if their is too much pain...start with antibiotics and analgesics. even if does not stop just get checking if fungal infection has not set in your ear. for this you can start with candid ear drops. gud luck.
