What Causes Pain And Discomfort On The Cheekbone After An Injury?

My daughter collided with another girl this morning while playing field hockey. The other girl s head hit into my daughter s cheek. Ever since, my daughter has been complaining of pain and discomfort along her cheekbone. There is minimal swelling and no obvious bruising. Tylenol didn t relieve her pain. Should we be concerned?

Hello,

No, give hot or cold compression. Anti-inflammatory with painkiller is necessary. If not solved take an x-ray PNS to rule out any fracture.
