What Causes Pain And Discomfort In The Lower Legs?

Hi, I ve got some pain and discomfort down on my lower part of my leg - feeling like a tender bruise. Hurts when I ve walked for a while and feels stiff and sore. I though perhaps it was shin splint but it is not all the way up my shin and only in one leg

Thanks for asking. I understand your concern.
Your problem seems to be due to-
- low calcium/ vitamin D levels.
- Over exertion & over use of the muscles ( including wrong posture )
-over weight.
- nerve pressure at hip or lumber spinal level.. which causes irritation of muscles.
You need a through check up by n Orthopedic surgeon with investigations like serum calcium & vitamin D / Xray, CT scan or MRI to pin point the cause followed by specific treatment to relieve you.
