Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My son has been experiencing pain in his foot on and off for a couple of weeks. At first we thought it was due to a new pair of work boots, so he bought some inserts with better arch support. He has had a fair amount of pain near the ball of his foot, and some discoloration (again, we though it may be dye from the new boots and new socks). I thought perhaps of plantar fasciitis as well. Tonight he called me and said his foot appears swollen. I am worried now that something more serious is going on, and we plan to go to an immediate care place tomorrow. I m just wondering what this could be.
what is the age of your son. the reason can be calcanium spur corn or improper fitting shoe. get checked by orthopedic doctor for x-ray of ball of foot to rule out calcanium spur. padded shoe is to be taken for that with physiotherapy.take well fitted shoe.give some rest apply analgesic ointment and give tab combiflam after food.
