What Causes Pain And Burning Sensation On The Penis During Urination?

I am having pain/buring at the tip of my penis upon urination. Started three days ago. The pain is also present upon palpation to the area. I have no history of this or any Hx of STD s or Urinary problems. I am sexually active. No associated polyuria. No inflammation, or other abnormalities. Just pain in my urethra approximately 1 cm from the urethral opening. Any ideas what it may be or how to find out?

If i were you treating doctor according to the symptoms that you describe ,i would say that you may have Urethritis (Inflamacion of urethra ,the tube that goes out from you blader).
Usually these condition in sexualy active man is caused by STD (Sexually transmited dissease ).The STD is usually caused by either Clamydia or Gonorrhea.

Other coondition may be a UTI(urinary tract infection),prostatitis.
I would suggest to go to your local doctor he/she would do a urinanalyze ,swab test of you discharge to find out the cause and start the antibiotic therapy .
