What Causes Pain And Bruising On The Knee?
My right knee hurts and its in alot of pain. The left side of the knee feels bruised and especially when it is touched. It hurts to put pressure, hurts when I get up, standing and walking also. It has been hurting for a week now but pain gets worse each day and it is warm to the touched. I have to sleep with two pillows under it. Cannot turn my leg or knee when sleeping as the pain is too much. I have work in retail for 35 years standing 8 hours a day about 10 hours a day during holidays. The left knee the pain is not as severe as the right one but also hurts. I have taken Avele, Tylenol Arthritis but nothing works. Saw something weird when i turned the light off and the light from TV reflected on the knee when i was wrapping it..around the knee it looked bruised.

it can be torn ligament but as mentioned about. take x-rayof effected knee joint and consult orthopaedic surgeon. till final diagnosis can use kneecapmand give rest to joint. take tablet combiflam and apply anal gesic ointment externally.
