What Causes Overweight And Height?

My son is 3 yo. His appt w a pediatric endocrinologist is coming up however i am hoping for some info. He is very tall for his age, also very overweight, and his apocrine sweat glands under his armpits seem to be working already. Any ideas of what we should be expecting?

I went through your details. Apocrine sweat glands working at the age of 3 is not a factor of worrying. Over weight and over growth may not point towards genetical problems. The possibility could be gigantism which is chromosomal problem. But you could see that almost from birth. What is the height and weight? I do not see any problem other than just a growth spurt. Wait for the endocrinologist's appointment and diagnosis. Do not be anxious.
