Well, your symptoms are not looking like herpes rather they are appearing like Apthous
stomatitis leading to Apthous ulcers..
As you changed your toothpaste and in case if the ulcers started to erupt after the use of new toothpaste then it can be very much due to
Allergic reaction to the contents of the toothpaste .
I would therefore suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated..
An oral swab culture and of needed a
blood test to check for viral infection and allergies will be done for confirmation..
A biopsy of the ulcers will also give a clear picture..
As of now you can gargle with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine.
You should start taking Vitamin B complex supplements daily..
Suck ice pops and drink plenty of cool water..
Gargle with 1:1 solution of
milk of magnesia and
Benadryl....
So warm saline gargle..
