What Causes Occasional Fever With Rashes?

my grandson is 19 years old & was admitted to a hospital on 10/9/15. His symptoms are occasional fever, rash on his body & body aches. He has occasional nausea. The disease specialist cannot diagnose him, because he cannot come up with a diagnosis. Is there anything you can think of what it could be? Thanks

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi.

It could be some form of a viral infection/fever requiring blood tests for a confirmation of diagnosis. Viral fevers are a different category altogether and need to be investigated separately so please speak to an experienced physician to get your grandson diagnosed.

Best wishes.
