What Causes Numbness On Toes And A Small Bump At The Side Of Foot?

I have pretty serious bunyons and numbness has started in two of my smaller toes from time to time. Now a smaller bump that is hard has formed on the side of my foot almost touching the bunyon. I m thinking it might by Metatarsalgia. Any thoughts?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have numbness on toes and a small bump at the side of foot . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like soft tissue injury , hematoma , nerve injury or compression . Small bump can be due to local infection or injury .I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper diagnosis . Doctor may order CT scan , MRI along with nerve conduction test . Doctor may prescribe anti inflammatory along with nerve supplement and recommend physical therapy . Doctor may also recommend surgery in severe nerve damage . For now keep your leg elevated while sleeping and appy warm compresses several times a day .
