What Causes Numbness On The Lips While On Amoxicillin And Clavulanate Potassium?

I am taking Amoxicillin and Clavulanate potassium tablets 875mg/125mg pills every 12hrs for a sinusitis (along with a promethazine DM syrup for cough as needed). On my fourth dose of the medication I started to experience numbness in the lips and inside of my mouth, should I be concerned ?

Hi,

I wonder taking such high doses of antibiotics and anti histamines shall be helpful in a long run. The symptoms you are complaining of shall subside after withdrawal of the drugs. They can help you relieve symptoms for the time being but the episodes of sinusitis shall return and that time you shall have to repeat the drug course or with more high grade drugs.
