What Causes Numbness On The Bottom Of The Feet?

I have symptoms of Plantar Fasciitis ( painful in the morning, occasionally during the day), but the bottoms of my feet will also go numb for a good part of the day. The numbness goes around the the outer edges of my foot, just under the toes, but not in the arch area. Is the numbness associated with the Plantar Fasciitis? Or is something else possibly going on?

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due plantar fasciitis. But it is better to to rule out other problems by doing a physical examination by orthopedician and nerve conduction study if needed to rule out any possibility of nerve compression or irritation. Physiotherapy, exercises and NSAIDs like ibuprofen will be helpful. You can also apply ice packs.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
